Pricing and payments

Ottica Lipari reserves the right to change the price of any product on its website without prior notice. Variations won’t apply on orders that have already been confirmed.

All prices shown on the website include VAT (value-added tax).

You can pay for products or additional services through one of the following methods.

Credit cards and debit cards

Ottica Lipari accepts online payments through the most diffused credit and prepaid cards. Your personal data are protected by a secure encryption system.


Customers can use the PayPal method and pay with a personal account. We reserve the right to ship the orders only to the address verified by PayPal. PayPal is a fast, safe, and simple payment system, which allows you to buy with higher protection. PayPal protects your personal information. Your credit card details are not shared with our online shop.

Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery is only available for orders delivered in Italy. You can pay your order directly to the courier, who will only accept cash payments. We suggest you prepare the exact amount due. An additional fee of 5 euros will be charged.

Wire Transfer

Payment by wire transfer is only available for orders delivered in Italy. To complete the order, you must send the payment receipt issued by your bank to [email protected] within 48 hours from its completion.

We will proceed with the shipment of your order only after receiving your payment, otherwise the order will be automatically cancelled.

Coupon Code

If you have a coupon code, you can enter it in the dedicated box at the checkout.

Coupon codes cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions or offers, unless specified.


According to the Italian law (DL 24/02), all defect products are covered by the manufacturer warranty for two years. The legal warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse. We will not accept liability for any direct or indirect damages. To benefit from the guarantee and have more information about the standard request procedure, please contact our customer service.

The optional OtticaLipariCare warranty extension against accidental damage to optical lenses is also available on otticalipari.it.

Ottica Lipari ships worldwide via DHL.

Shipping and delivery times

Ready-to-ship products are delivered within 3 working days in Italy and within 5 working days in other countries. Other products (such as eyeglasses with prescription lenses) may take up to 15 working days to be delivered.

Details on availability and actual shipping times are always displayed on each product page.

If you make an order after 12:00 PM, on Saturday and Sunday or during the holidays, it will be processed the next working day. 

After your order is sent, you will receive an email with all its details. We will also send you the package’s tracking code in a separate email; you may use it for checking the delivery status of your shipment on DHL’s website.

Shipping fees

We offer free shipping on all orders delivered in Italy and Europe.
Shipping fees for orders delivered outside of Europe usually range from 15 to 60 euros, depending on the country of destination. You can check the actual shipping fee on this page or by specifying the shipping address during the purchase process.

Any customs duties on international orders will be charged to the recipient. DHL will notify you of the amount owed before your order is delivered. You can choose whether to pay with your credit card, PayPal or cash on delivery.

Order cancellation, product replacements, and returns

If you’re not satisfied with your order, or if you changed your mind and wish to send it back, you can request to return an item for a refund or replace it within 30 days from delivery.

You can only return or replace items that are unused and intact (including their packaging), sent back in their original condition and with their security tags on.

We won’t accept replacement or refund requests for products that have been used or damaged, or without security tags.

How to return or replace a product

If you ordered as a registered user

  • Log in to your account, go to Orders history and view the order you wish to return
  • Specify if it’s a partial refund and write the details of any replacement products in the form
  • Pack the item securely, using the original packaging where possible.
  • Attach the pre-paid label included with your order
  • Contact our Customer Service team to arrange a courier pick up or organize your drop off at the nearest DHL point
  • Wait for our confirmation email.

If you ordered as a guest 

To request a refund or product replacement, please write an email to [email protected] specifying:

  • your order number
  • your preferred option (refund or replacement)
  • the name and code of the items you wish to return
  • the name and code of any replacement products.

Our customer service will get in touch within 24 working hours.

We will give you instructions on how to add any price differences or get them back. 

Then, you will need to:

  • pack the item securely, using the original packaging where possible
  • attach the pre-paid label included with your order
  • contact our Customer Service team to arrange a courier pick up or agree a drop-off date at the nearest DHL point
  • wait for our confirmation email.

Refund policy

In case you request a refund, we will reimburse you for the full price of the products you choose to return. Any shipping costs charged for orders outside of Europe will not be refunded.

Notice: PayPal payments need a few days to be refunded. If your refund is “Pending”, don’t worry: it usually depends on the normal verification procedures carried out by the service. If the waiting time exceeds 30 days, contact us. We’ll be happy to assist you.

Return costs of orders from Italy

The first return of orders delivered to Italy is completely free of charge. Ottica Lipari will cover any collection and shipping costs.

From the second return on, a shipping fee of 6,97 euros will be charged to the client.

Return costs of international orders

For the return of orders delivered outside of Italy, we will charge a shipping fee ranging from 13 to 60 euros, depending on the country.
